For my 1st birthday celebration here in the US, we went to Lake Almaden park and invited lots of friends and their parents. We had barbeque that daddy prepared along with snacks and drinks. I had a great time and even showed daddy how to play bocce ball.

Summer Fun

California is warm and sunny, so mommy brought my ducky-tub out onto the patio for splash time!

And the new park opened on our hill. I had a great time in the play area.

1st Trip Around the Sun

I turned 1 year old 7/17/08 and celebrated in Moscow, with Mommy, Grandma & Grandpa, Uncle Igor & Cousins Oleg and Maxim.

I was Christened in an Orthodox church. The ceremony was conducted in a centuries old traditional service.

Soon after, it was time to say goodbye to everyone in Moscow and fly home to papa in California.

Inside St Basil's

We took a tour of St Basil's Cathedral. The inside is a winding maze that is like being inside a castle decorated with beautiful icons and painted designs on the walls.

These are some of the treasures inside the museum.

Inside the Kremlin

Wait for me!
Tsar Pushka is thought to be the world's largest howitzer ever made. The cannon balls, made in St. Petersburg, are actually larger than the diameter of the cannon's bore. Their impractical size is said to be a humorous symbol of the friendly rivalry between St Petersburg and Moscow.
