The new firehouse in our neighborhood is finished, so they held a dedication ceremony this weekend. I got to see a vintage firetruck, several new firetrucks
, the brass pole and there was even a bagpiper! The best part is, it's only a few blocks from our house!I was a little tired, but Fire Chief Darryl Von Raesfeld was very pleased to meet me. He said I might be a fireman one day!
I got my very own fireman's helmet and had a ball, playing fireman in the dining area.
The firehouse is going to be my favorite stop on walks around the neighborhood!
